The Winthrop Cultural Council is pleased to announce that they are managing The Clock Tower Gallery at the E. B. Newton School & Culutal Center.
The mission of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) is to promote excellence, access, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities , and interpretive sciences, to improve the quality of life for all Massachusetts residents, and to contribute to the economic vitality of our communities.
Proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science projects:
are due October 15, 2014, for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community.
This year, the Winthrop Cultural Council will distribute about $8,000 in grants.
