1. How to get a library card?
a. A library card may be obtained free of charge by any adult with proper I.D. Proper I.D. consists of a picture I.D., and something with your present address on it. A driver’s license, utility bill, checkbook or envelope that has been mailed to you can be used. When a student reaches the age of fourteen and is in the ninth grade he is eligible to receive an adult card. Winthrop library cards may be used in any of the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE) libraries. If your library card is lost, stolen, your address or telephone number has changed please notify us at once. There is a one-dollar fee for a replacement card.
