POLICIES OF THE TRAVEL COMMITTEE

*You cannot sign up for any trips until they appear in the Newsletter*
 
All trips must be paid in full. CHECKS ONLY. Please make checks payable to: FRIENDS OF THE WCOA. Payment is required at the time you sign up. You cannot sign up for a trip unless you have paid. 
 
In order to go on trips through the Winthrop Senior Center, you will need to provide us with emergency contact information. If you have not gone on a trip with us before, please fill out the Senior Center registration form and return it to the Senior Center when you sign up for a trip. Thank you. 
 
DAY TRIPS
  • Must be paid in full; CHECKS ONLY. Please make checks payable to: Friends of the WCOA.
  • You travel with us at your own risk. We are not responsible for any liability. 
  • There will be no refunds for a no show on the day of the trip.
  • Day trip cancellations: you must cancel two weeks before the trip in order to receive a refund. If you cancel within two weeks of a trip, a refund will only be granted if a replacement is found to take your spot.
  • Ticketed entertainment show cancellations: you must cancel 30 days before in order to receive a refund. If you cancel within 30 days of a show, a refund will only be granted if a replacement is found to take your spot.
  • If you are late the day of departure, the maximum wait time will be no longer than ten minutes.
 
OVERNIGHT TRIPS:
  • Must be paid in full; CHECKS ONLY. Please make checks payable to: Friends of the WCOA.
  • No refunds will be made after the balance due date unless a replacement is found.   
  • There will be no refunds for a no show on the day of the trip.
