Winter Parking Regulations are In Effect as of November 15

Motorists are reminded that Winter Parking Regulations are in effect from November 15 to May 1.

Please take a moment to re-familiarize yourself with the regulations.

Ordinance requires that upon announcement by the National Weather Service of expected or impending snowfall, vehicles must be removed from all but the following streets:

Walden StreetFence side from Main Street to Lincoln Street, and Ingleside Park side from Lincoln Street to Pauline Street
Winthrop StreetOdd numbered side from Magee's Corner to Banks Street

Vehicles must be removed from these excepted streets immediately upon cessation of snow during daylight hours or, in the case of storm events occurring during the nighttime hours, by 8:00 a.m. in order not to impede snow removal operations.  Persons responsible for parking automobiles must keep informed at all times of snowstorm forecasts in order that vehicles may be properly removed from town streets.

Violation carries a $40.00 fine, and your vehicle may be towed.
